Shaver Lake Maternity Session

Josh and Shaelyn recently spent the evening adventuring with me for their Shaver Lake maternity session. Shae was absolutely glowing as she anticipated meeting her sweet baby girl and I loved the way Josh smiled adoringly at her the entire session. Her maternity dress from Shop Pink Blush and Gigi Pip suede hat were the perfect combination to highlight Shae’s feminine and free spirit. Their baby girl is so blessed to have these two as parents! I am so excited for them to meet their beautiful baby and raise her to be brave, adventurous, kind and loving, just like them!

We could not have asked for more perfect weather for Josh and Shae’s Shaver Lake maternity session. Light clouds rolled in right as we were finishing up down by the waterfront to create the perfect amount of soft light. We loved seeing the tree lines in the distance when we were by the lake. Before we finished up, I caught a glimpse of the most dreamy meadow and had to stop to capture these gorgeous moments for this sweet family. I can’t wait to see these maternity photos printed in baby girl’s nursery. She will grow up knowing how much her parents love her and she will always have these memories to look back on!

Maternity sessions are one of my favorite things to photograph. I love the anticipation and love you see between a couple who is expecting a baby. These sessions are so intimate and laid back.
