Cliffs Hotel Wedding in Pismo Beach | Kellie & Rick

Kellie & Rick celebrated a gorgeous day with their family and friends at the Pismo Beach wedding venue The Cliffs Hotel. Their day was bright and cheerful with a blend of elegant details and vibrant floral statements from San Luis Obispo wedding florist Sprigs Floral Design. I just love the bold pillars they chose to display their flowers as their ceremony backdrop. Kellie looked stunning in her Elegant Lace gown and beauty by wedding hair and makeup artist The Queens Bees. These two were so relaxed and enjoyed every moment with their closest loved ones. They both had smiles on their faces all day long! It was a joy to witness and I adored documenting their day.

An Intimate Courtyard Wedding Reception

For reception arrangements, a smaller guest count allowed for use of the poolside courtyard space. String lights, golden light and fountains added a romantic ambiance. The table centerpieces combined succulents, colorful florals and elegant vintage lanterns on top of wood rounds for an eclectic feel. Their cake was made by a friend and placed on top of a custom serving platter, embellished with florals and a personalized cake topper.

Why I Love The Cliffs Hotel Wedding Venue

These stunning bluffs along the California Central Coast are the a beautiful setting for any wedding, year round. You would never be able to guess that Kellie and Rick actually celebrated their day in November, with the sunshine and gorgeous coastline. There is so much variety here with the ceremony location on the bluffs, the trail that leads to the beach for sunset portraits, and an amazing staff with impeccable service.

It was an honor to be a part of Kellie & Rick’s day as their wedding photographer. Memories like these remind me why I love telling stories with images and creating a legacy for couples and their loved ones to celebrate for many years. Couples like these two bring me so much joy!
